Position: Woonasquatucket River Greenway - Seasonal Jr River Ranger

The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) is seeking highly motivated individuals who live near the Woonasquatucket River Greenway in Providence to join our River Ranger team this season. Junior River Rangers report to our Greenway Team and assist with maintenance of the parks and bike path along the Woonasquatucket River Greenway.

Seasonal Junior River Rangers work 35 hours a week through the end of the season, approximately November / December. Daily tasks may include park observations, weeding, mulching, picking up litter, watering plants, sweeping, raking, river clean ups, tree pruning, fence repair, working with volunteers, and graffiti removal. River Rangers are stewards of the Greenway and are responsible for greeting people in the community and encouraging appropriate use of the outdoor space.
